My name is Mischa Fahl and as the MD of this boutique employee relations practice, I specialise in the resolution of difficult, complex and contentious workplace complaints. At the simplest level, I manage the difficult discussions with challenging employees. 

At the most intricate level, my key skills and competence are in the conduct of complex mediations and investigations.

My focus throughout any process is the delivery of cost effective, realistic and practical outcomes for my client. In matters involving possible bullying, harassment, discrimination, inappropriate behaviour and misconduct, I conduct detailed and thorough investigations.  With the support of my in-house Barrister, both the process and the consequent reports are robust and legally compliant.

All investigations and reports are in a format and of a standard mandated by the Queensland Crime and Corruption Commission.

Resolving Workplace disputes

I am committed to resolving workplace disputes in a respectful, diligent and professional manner. My protocols and procedures are mandated by the Australian Institute of Mediators and Arbitrators.

Equally so I am dedicated to ensuring that my clients achieve a successful resolution in respect of any matters that may go before the Human Rights and Equal Opportunity Commission, the Queensland Crime and Corruption Commission, the Fair Work and Queensland Industrial Relations Commissions and the Anti-Discrimination Commission.

My ongoing success in representing my clients in these jurisdictions is a testament to my experience, professionalism and competence.

Education and Coaching

 

Coaching and mentoring of senior employees in all aspects of people engagement, particularly around the management of challenging employees and interactions, is an incredibly enjoyable and integral part of my practice.

The nature of my skills and qualifications enables me to provide education and training in the identification, prevention, and management of bullying, harassment and other conduct inappropriate in the workplace.

Workplace Reviews

Often termed ‘Cultural reviews’ my experience in this field is unique within Queensland. Having conducted processes for an extensive variety of clients across industries from the Queensland Police Service to a large, diverse and remote Health network my research work has contributed to significant positive change within each entity.

My willingness to travel, often at very short notice, is another important attribute of my service ethos.
